Retired. Going Sailing.
Yesterday was my last day in uniform. After more than 22 years of police work and six years in the CG, I'm done. People expect me to get another job, but I'm going sailing. No long cruises yet, Jane is still working and the boat isn't ready. But sailing is what I love, I've been thrifty all my life, I'll be alright on my pension. Almost every day should involve either maintaining or using a boat.

Congratulations! Best of luck.

Two words of advice from a retiree.
One, the boat will never be ready. You just have to decide when you are ready.
Two, try hard to keep the ratio of days using the boat to days maintaining the boat to greater than 50%.
