Raft-up with dissimilar boats

Hi,

We've got some friends on the lake who have a (Ranger, I think) 19 ft fish-ski, who have suggested a raft up to watch Independence Day fireworks. Does anyone have pointers on how to raft up with two widely different sized boats?

I figure we will hang off our our anchor. But they have much less freeboard than us, so the usual side to side raft up may be inconvenient for crossing between boats. Would it make sense to just hang them off the stern like a dinghy, and pull them in when anyone wants to cross?

I don't expect much trouble with wind, swell, or current on the lake--but we may have quite a few wakes, as this is one of the busiest days of the year on the lake.

You can have him outboard of the raftup or like you suggested, hang him off astern. As for those wakes... plenty of fenders between the vessels and someone standing by with a paint ball gun. The PBG? Why to take pot shots at the INCONSIDERATE SOBs That Don't Slow Down...
Next question!?
