Any ideas on places to keep a trailer sailer (on trailer) in the central Florida Keys after hurricane season?

Hi Walt - found u because I was looking for Atomic 4 parts. My 2 cents Regarding keeping the boat in the Keys (I've been there a lot), the Keys are v. narrow & land is at a premium. If you are going to trailer it, it might make sense to drive it to the mainland & save $ on storage.

Regarding the Atomic 4 - cut & pasted:
Hi! I have an Atomic 4 that starts easily but runs v. rough. It has some new parts, but has a cracked head and has been raw water cooled (mostly salt) for about 30 years. So - I am guessing the corrosion is really bad inside. Looking for good condition block / other replacement parts that would have been damaged by corrosion. I can drive pretty far to pick up &/or work in trade. Looking to spend v. little $!

Any ideas about how to proceed are appreciated. The boat currently has an outboard. Compression on this motor was 105/113/95/108 in 2007. At that time the waterpump was rebuilt and new fuel tank & filter installed.

I live close to Seattle but not working so could drive fairly far to get it.

Florida Keys Craigslist today has a posting for cheap boat/trailer storage in Marathon.

For years we used to keep our trailer sailor at Rudy Krause Construction on Summerland Key. It's been a couple of years since we've sold that boat, and I don't know if they still have trailer storage, but it was the best deal anywhere in the Keys. I liked it because it was a huge gated lot where there was plenty of room to back up, turn around, etc. That's a rare luxury in the Keys. I think you can Google their phone number.
