Michael K is on a distinguished road
Several years ago I met a couple who were readying their Alberg 30 for extensive cruising. They, too, came to a realization that it wasn't enough boat for their needs. They sold it and settled on a Nonsuch 30. The difference between the two boats was not tremendous, but it was enough to keep everyone happy. In the end, isn't that the most important part? The husband confided in me that his wife was the wiser one and he was happy to have her guidance; she played a big role in both letting the Alberg go and selecting the Nonsuch. Hopefully you both will work together equally well and find great happiness in your next boat.
