They could be expected to log between 100 and 250 miles in any given day depending on the winds and currents, but something less than 150 miles per day would be a good average for a moderately fast cat, 100 per day in something more normal. While cats can hit some pretty high speeds in a decently high breeze, much of a circum-nav is done in moderate to light winds.
