Help me find a transporter please :)

I've been looking for someone to haul my boat from Baltimore to Southern NJ. I've browsed online but can't get any return phone calls.

It's a Catalina 30.

Anyone have any good recommendations??

Thanks!

They're not exactly local, but you can try these guys. Pete H. was a Fraternity brother but I haven't seen him in years.

Highly recommended by Hinckley Yachts:

Yacht Hauling Boat Transport - Murphy Yacht Transport

But sailing it up would be much more affordable...

Be aware that Uship is just a clearinghouse and marks up the actual shipping for their services....

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I also had good luck with UShip.com

I found the bids kept getting better as the 5 or 7 (can't recall now) bidding period waned. You aren't committed just by signing up/posting a request, so it's hard to go wrong looking around there.

All Aboard Marine Transport

I have used Dave a number of times and found him to careful & reliable. He does long hauls on his own trailers.
