craigtx is on a distinguished road
Thanks sailnet

I wanted more time on a sailboat and you said grab a ride on the beer can races so I found one.
The boat it's the best or the fastest but I have learned more than I could have ever dreamed of so far.
I'm hooked and I'm quickly becoming a good sailor with free beer thrown in.
It's a good life.

We had 25 knot's winds tonight and still I enjoyed every minute.

The next one is offshore over night to Port Mansfield I can't wait.
Bring on Labor Day Weekend.
I'm now part of the crew on a 29 cal. (1972)

CalebD will become famous soon enough
Way to go dude!
Amateur racers are really good people to learn from most of the time. I am still trying to figure it all out but I have a 27' boat that we race and we know it well. It is all about building up a consistent crew that will show up every week rain or shine. If you can be consistent you will be asked back if you pass 'the test' and be invited back.
I have learned a lot from the 'beer can' racing I have done.
Keep it up.
