Catalina 27 rudder

Hi all,

I'm not sure if I am posting in the right spot, but here goes. I purchased a high aspect rudder from Booth a couple of weeks ago and finally managed to get it bottom painted and installed. Out of all the changes I have made to my boat this has got to be the biggest change. It is a lot more comfortable under sail and has low speed maneuverability now. As many other people have mentioned it now has steering in reverse! All in all I am very pleased and would highly recommend this product. Also it was a good thing that I did change the rudder. The bolt that goes through the rudder and tiller head was all but rotted out. Someone had replaced it at one time with a mild steel bolt and nut. Scary!
Anyhow, just thought I would give credit where credit is due.
Happy Sailing
Aaron
