S2 6.8??

i was looking at one today that didn't have the swing keel.
i haven't found any info on this shallow draft model, only the swing keel (centerboard)version...and very little info on that one. it's the model with the flat top...deck and cabin roof are flush.
it seems to be in good shape, but i'm a bit hesitant due to the lack of info on the boat and it's characteristics.
by chance, does anyone have any experience with this model?

I just sailed a (borrowed) S2 7.3 from New Orleans to Bay St. Louis. I am now looking for the 30 foot version. I've met a few S2 owners in the past, all very pleased.

Lack of info can be unnerving, but if there were serious problems or design flaws, you would find those reviews

the lack of info is whats unnerving me. i'm looking at an abbott 22 and a alberg 22 also...both of which i'm much more comfortable with.
i like the flat deck on the 6.8, but something about it seems wrong.
