Looking for boat

I am trying to track down the boat my family owned when I was growing up. Unfortunately, I have very little information as my father is dead and my mother doesn't remember much.

We lived in Darien, Connecticut and kept the boat at Rowayton Yacht Club. I believe my father sold her out of Yacht Haven in Stamford, Connecticut, in 1969, so about 31 years ago.

She is an Allied Seawind Ketch, 30', and her name at the time was Jezebel.

I am anxious to find her and if anyone has any information or suggestons about how I could go about locating her, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

I read "Good Old Boat" magazine's history of this design by Thomas Gillmer and of the first fiberglass boat to circumnavigate from '63 to '68. If you search the Good Old Boat listings of owner's associations you will find a contact phone number for this Allied Seawind 30 group. Since the first boats were produced in 1962 and yours was sold in 1969, knowing the years it was family owned could give you an idea of it's production year. Good luck in your search, Aythya crew
