En route to SoCal - a unique transport

Figured I'd throw some pics out there of the boat being loaded up - a bit of a unique situation as I'm also shipping my CJ750 motorcycle and sidecar with the boat... This would be a pretty unique site to see rolling down the interstate! With travel restrictions this weekend she should be splashed next Wednesday in Marina del Rey.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

So which yard are you having put it in the water, Windward or The Boatyard? I used Windward to prep my boat for transport a couple weeks ago. They did a great job and did it for $300 less than they estimated. They also bent over backwards to work with my schedule and that of the transport company. If you go to Windward, tell Simon hello from the guy that just shipped a Catalina 400 North.

However, I've also heard good things about The Boatyard as well.

Putting in at The Boatyard - I also heard very good things about Windward. The game plan is to keep her over there for a couple weeks while a few projects are completed, and then getting a slip at Marina Harbor.
