Mid Chesapeake Restaurants

Anyone have a favorite restaurant on the lower Potomac, Rappahannock or other mid Chesapeake rivers that can be sailed/motored too? Fancy, casual, lively...all types welcomed. Thanks!

Yes, I know a good one. It''s called Fairport Marina & Restaurant, near Reedville on Cockrells Creek, only a couple miles from the Great Wicomico light. Plenty of cold beer, soft crabs and pretty waitresses, also all-u-can-eat steamed crabs on Sundays during the fall. They have gas, diesel, pump out and plenty of dock space.

If you make it up to Pax River, try the Dry Dock at Zahnisers...great food. Table usually requires a reservation, but you can normally eat at the bar with a walk-in.
