iPhoen App Ideas

Hey guys

I have a ton of downtime at the university and I'd like to brush up on my programming skills. Any ideas for useful iPhone apps for sailors? Nothing mission critical. There's already navigation apps, and that's lightyears beyond my skill level anyway. What kind of apps would help you on the water?

Something in an augmented reality, please. With rum.

I'd like to see an interactive safety, provisioning and task lists that our kids can use. When we charter, we have them go through a paper list to check everything on the boat. We followup of course

I really want a bottle opener app and a corkscrew app. Then my iPhone will be better than a Swiss Army knife.

I'm trying to figure out a way to make a rum dispenser in the iPhone

Luken, that is a great idea! A good programming exercise!

I would love an app with the polar's of the boat, to figure out the fastest way to get from point A to B.

How about an app that says, "Hey, get your face out of the phone and enjoy the life around you?"
