I thought about it. I'm going to be installing AC, a PSS seal and doing some custom woodwork this winter so I kicked around the idea of hauling out at Winters/Riverside. But I'll probably stay down on the bay and haul out at Forked River. It's a lot easier than taking three or four days to bring the boat around and worrying about weather windows this time of year.

Don't forget the 14th Street Bridge is VERY LOW and does NOT raise, the chart shows 18' vert clearence. That is not exactly a clearence for a sailboat. And except for the Capitol and the Washington Monument you can not really "see" the memorials from south of those bridges. A tourboat is the better boat ride to see monuments.
