Sailnet Get-Together during Annapolis Boat Show? - Page 3

Is there a firm place and time to meet up on Friday. I will be driving from NC so I hope to make it up there in time depending on traffic. If those that cannot meet up on Friday, I will be at Pursars at 1pm on Sat for a drink and Lunch. I will be wearing my boat shirt; blue shirt with Rhapsody in Blue on it with my worn pink hat with the same name. If you see me please say Hi!.

I was hoping I could meet you guys, but it looks like Friday will be impossible for me. I am currently looking at Sunday or possibly Thursday (extra $$$ for VIP) as the only days that my schedule will allow. Is anyone going those days?

We will be at the show on Friday (by car) as well and would like to join as well, problem is we are meeting up with a group from our marina and might (most likely) will be whisked off to some other gathering. (post painkillers, you know how it goes...)

I was thinking if we parked at Port Annapolis and took the water taxi to the show, we might just be able to have an excuse not to join in, or at the least for being a bit late.

Eryka, do you think it would be an issue if we parked at PA (with a HHS Sticker

) on Friday?

I don't think so - you're just visiting your friends Dan & Jaye to go to the show with us, right?

We're also going Friday, by dinghy, leaving Port A at 9 AM. How many of you are there? We have room for 2 more.

Thank you very much for the offer, but we have an early AM commitment and wont be able to get there until 10ish.

Do I need to hail the water taxi, or do they automatically stop at PA?

Darn! It would have been a lot more credible if we were seen together. You'll need to call the water taxi to schedule a pickup: 410-263-0033

The water taxi usually comes to Back Creek 20 after the hour. You have to call them about 10 till to schedule the pickup. They will want at least three fares to make the trip, so unless you party is 3 or more or there is someone else, be prepared to pay for 3 fares. It should not be an issue during boat show, but just be ready.
