Shark oil barometer

I have a bottle of oil extracted from the liver of a shark. Basically when the bottle is clear then the weather will be clear and just the opposite for cloudy wheather. Cloudy peaks in the bottle are a sighn for high winds. Has anyone else seen or used this before?

I have not heard about the shark oil, but i understand that these are very effective for weather forecasting:

Could you send me one of those stones so I can put it next to my oil and sextant. I believe $2.00 for the stone and $ 10.00 shipping cost should be fare deal.
