sterring cable for 24' seaward sailboat

Looking to replace my sterring cable on Seaward 24'. Can't find one anywhere, I have a Merriman pedistal, need a push and pull single cable, which hooks onto port side of rudder. When I bought the boat, the cable came from Edson sterring company, not available anymore. the number on it is, 237-9, price was about $360. Have been looking for this cable for 2 years now. Anybody have any ideas, please reply. wafi04raw@comcast.net
Thanks!
