Kettenburg K-40 free to good home

Folks, I just heard of hull number three being free and is scheduled to be destroyed this week. She's a sistership to the Lady J, who's restoration I've been chronicling up here. she needs ribs replaced or repaired and some planking done. It'd be a shame to let her die.... Here are some pics.

If we could get her up here, I've got a place for her.

jackdale will become famous soon enough
Hi Charlie

Nice looking boat - what a shame.

She would have to be trucked north, I presume.

I don't know yet. I may have a partial player on this and may fly down to inspect her, actually, WILL fly down to inspect her before any funds are spent on her. Another player or two would help.

What is the Cobra's definition of a "player"?

Interested party, possible investor or part owner. The Lady J's owner has expressed an interest but has most of his boat money tied up in the Lady J. I don't even care whether I get the work as long as she doesn't get cut up. She needs a benefactor and time is short. I'll try to get a stay of execution tomorrow.
