Sailing in Pa?

Have any posters had experience with sailing from Harrisburg Pa. to the Chesapeake Bay? Is it even possible?

Sounds like a NO to me!! Thanks. Finally lost my job so I was moving to San Diego ( home town) next month to look at boats, got a job offer in Harrisburg, sounds like the Maryland area will be the closest place to look at or keep a boat. Although a marina on the river might be a better start for a beginner if the Susquehanna river is sail boat friendly. Thanks again

I think HarveDeGrace is as close north sailboats can go and still be on the River/bay. It's not real far from Harrisburg. I'm not from that area so I don't know all the specifics for sailing that part of the river.

The Hudson (all the way up to Troy, NY), Jersey Shore, CT, and the lower Delaware River have marinas and may be an option for you. The Chesapeake is nice (hot in summer) but can be pricey.
