A bit of withdrawls

OK, so I haven't been able to sail for nearly 6 weeks, one of the luxuries of living in MN. We are supposed to get 6 inches or so of heavy wet snow, with rain too. Winds about 15 so its going to be a fantastic day on Saturday. It's going to be snowing/raining all day...... Help! Need pics and vids of sailing....... weak, very weak.....

May I ask why a sailor would choose to live in a place that stays frozen for a third of the year? Have you considered reinforcing your bow and keel with a 2" steel shell? That would remove any problems you'd have with the ice, though you may sit a little bit lower in the water then your used to

Dear lord that looks cold. Mid-60's in VA and sunny... sorry don't mean to rub it in... ok, yes I do.

Going to the boat tomorrow to start to break her down. It's a pretty time of year on the Bay. Leaves are just starting to come down and there's wind. We have to wrap it up a bit early this year because I have to spend 3 weeks working in San Diego.... a thousand boats and none of them mine. But they have a killer WM.

Not all that cold, only 34F with a windchill of 24F. About as good as it's going to get today. We had mid 60's on Wednesday here......
