Give us your boat quote or a friends or even a celebrity's.

When it comes to sailing, we are all in the same boat- we rely on wind to move across the water quietly. Kane

The optimist expects the wind. The pessimist complains about the wind. The realist adjusts the sails.

Don't know about quotes, but when I'm on the boat I'm happy.

Regards,
Brad

Great minds discuss ideas;
Average minds discuss events;
Small minds discuss people.
.
The best minds discuss sailing (and a little bit of politics). I don't know why. It's a mystery!

"A sure cure for seasickness is to sit under a tree"

And my signature!

Successful cruising couples consist of an optimist and a pessimist. The optimist gets them off the dock and the pessimist keeps them from losing the boat.

"The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears, or the sea" - Isak Dinesen

And -

"To err is human. To arr is pirate."

Not necessarily sailing-related, per se, but I like them and they do apply:

"You don't have to be prepared as long as you're willing to suffer the consequences."

And -

"Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid." - John Wayne

- Bill T.
- Richmond, VA

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do, than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
- Mark Twain

Somewhere around the age of 10 or 12, I first heard the adage "When in doubt, let it out". This bit of wisdom, I think known to all sailors, has served me well for the last 50 years.
