More like 316 stainless steel.

* Wants to see a certain captain from sailnet surf his cat onto a beach *

I really loved that one with boat surfing into the little inlet, the guy on the bow pretty much shows that crew is comfortable doing that trick.

The best "docking" I think I've ever seen was in Tofino,BC. A teenage girl (with bright blue hair) came roaring into a very tight little marina in a 16' tinny (aluminum boat) and without slowing down (15 knots?) until the last possible second made a quick 90 degree turn and let the momentum push the boat into about an 18' space at the dock where she just stepped out (she was standing with a tiller extension - the norm on the west coast of Vancouver Isle) of the boat as it kissed the dock and tied it up and walked off like it was nothing. Wish I'd had a video camera.
