Boat Market: Sailboat/Motorboat

I found some interesting information about the number of sailboats versus motorboats. It is only referring European markets so I would like to have information about the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other countries, just to get a general pictures.

In Europe the proportion between sailboats and motorboats is very different from country to country. Motorboats have generally a large percentage, but my guess is that in the US, the percentage of motorboats is much higher. Am I wrong?

Germany: Sailboats 20% France: Sailboats 20% Poland: sailboats 85%

Swede: Sailboats 17% Greece: Sailboats 6% Netherlands: Sailboats 50%

Portugal: Sailboats 4% Norway: 6% Croatia: 75% Finland: 2.5%

Belgium : 41% Ireland: 50% Denmark: 14% Spain: 33% Switzerland: 51%

U.K: 35%

And this, regarding USA is even older:
