Yep. If anything, marks the mid point from haul-out to launch. Always good to poke around boats.

Yup, I'll be making my way over there with the Admiral to get ourselves pumped up for next season..

Would be a good opportunity to meet some fellow SailNet'rs

I can't imagine mastering the skills involved here without a clearer understanding of who's going to be impressed.

SWMBO and I are going to make a weekend out of it. Looks like the Westin is offering a show discount on rooms.

Should we organize a meet/greet/D&S mixer?

I'm game. Admiral's game too.. We're easy for either weekend also since we're in the city already. Once we get a sense of numbers I can look around for a suitable venue and make reservations if needed.. unless someone else has a preference for taking that on

I won't be in Toronto, but I'm looking forward to Strictly Sail Chicago a couple of weeks later. Anyone know if the new Beneteau First 30 will be making the show rounds? I'm 100% cruiser with a taste for salty double-enders and am 100% certain I'll never own a Beneteau, but I'm curious to see this boat in person just because of its' lineage to the Open 60 series of ocean racers.

I doubt it's worth enough to even buy an Opti...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

SWMBO and I just arrived at our tastefully appointed room at the Harbour Castle. We'll be at the show on Sat and Sun, if any one else is in the area and wishes to join us for a D&S or two.
