currents between Key West and Ft Jefferson?
I heard there is pretty severe currents between Key West and the Fort. Is it tidal currents? I can't find any chart information.

The loop current for the Gulf Stream can cause a pretty fair drift across the course but nothing exceptional. You can view the Gulf Stream at PassageWeather - Sailing Weather - Marine Weather Forecasts for Sailors and Adventurers
