How difficult is it to document a boat yourself? Is is it just too much of a hassle to go through the red tape? Any thoughts would be appreciated as well as rec. for doc.services. thanks

I did it myself with a boat imported from another country, which is more difficult. Still, it wasn''t hard. The people at the USCG vessel doc center are easy to work with. Save yourself some money and do it yourself
