Its Sunny Somewhere!

to borrow from a song, it must be sunny somewhere!

The boat is stowed on blocks, under tarp, and the snowplow has become my trucks road-buddy for a while, rather than the boat.

I like reading sail.net to hear of other people's enjoying of the water and warmth!

Maybe a vacation and ticket to somewhere warm is in order!?

I'm sunless in Seattle - definitely no rays here (although there was about 45 minutes of something big, bright, and yellow up in the sky earlier today. For a bit, we exited out caves like sloped-brow, knuckle-dragging neanderthals to gaze bewilderedly at the odd event. Then it went away and the clouds took their rightful place.

God I miss Florida.

I just realized how pathetic it is that I'm cruising these forums just to enjoy the discussions of OTHER people who might be out enjoying the wind and waves these days.

Oh well, at least it's better than nothing.

Cloudy morning, sunny afternoon. Back to rain tomorrow and right up to Xmas. Here on Canada's West Coast, we don't dream of a White Xmas, just a dry one!

I'm here in the tropical setting of the Dominican Republic and it's rainy season. The sun crept out yesterday and so far this morning, but it's not warm. After seeing all the snow that most of you are experiencing, I'm much more appreciative of our our rainy season. 25 degrees celcius isn't all that bad!

It's icy cold and snow covered here in England.
