Does anyone know what kind of boat this is?

Iflyka200s 12-30-2010 06:36 PM

A boat in the living room?

Domesticated Opti?

I am now seeing the benefits to a two story house...

A VERY VERY slow one!

Does it have a lee board? Is it a naples sabot?

I'm thinking Sabot as well, but the perspective makes it hard to judge scale.

If you live on the west coast, especially the Bay Area, it's likely to be an El Toro. Looks very similar, perhaps a homemade wooden one. See ETIYRA- El Toro International Yacht Racing Association

I'm going with a Sabot too...

Paul323 you are da' man! it is definitely an El Toro. We got it free with our '73 Challenger 32. We've refinished the entire thing. It's now smurf blue. an acidental combination of navy blue and white Rustoleum topside paint. (We're trying the paint out before we repaint the bigger badder Challenger.)

It's an adorable little dinghy. Now we just need to find a sail for it!

A. You are waiting for Ultra High Tide.
B. You live in California and waiting for the floods.
