Comparison of Jeanneau 34.2 Yr 2000 model and Beneteau 370 Year 1994

I am looking for a coastal cruiser and considering these two boats, advertised for the same price.

Jeanneau 34.2 (2000 model) in good condition and a Beneteau 370 (1994 model) that is in fair condition.

The Beneteau looks to have some rusty thru hull valves that need replacing and the toilet did not smell fresh so may need new pipes/toilet. The Beneteau comes with A/C, Radar, Windlass, and most of the available options/instruments.

The Jeanneau comes with similar options w/o AC, radar, and windlass, but is in newer and better condition.

Any opinions on the difference between these two boats and pluses/minuses? My main use is for weekend sailing within 30 miles one way or so in fairly protected waters and maybe a long trip once in a long while of 60 miles or more.

Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If the fair boats instruments/A/C and Radar all orginal then its pretty OLD in terms of life expectancy and being worthwhile to repiar
