Sailor overdue destined for Ocean Springs, MS

This is where I live. Don't personally know the family, but can't imagine what she's going through.

Man that sucks. Let's just hope he's taking his time. Any of you Gulf sailors know what the weather's been doing out there over the last few weeks? It hasn't been too bad around Austin.

A low pushed through from Texas this past weekend, but even then he was overdue. Can't recall what the weather did prior to the new year.

A front came in on New Years and kicked up some pretty high winds through mid afternoon 1/1, but I believe that the weather had calmed down by the 3rd when he left. I was coming back from Galveston to Kemah on 1/1 and had 16-20 kt winds the whole way in the Bay. Can't remember what the weather was like the following week, but there were reported near gale force winds in the Gulf on Sunday 1/9.
