Is there a way on this forum to...

Is there a way on this forum to sort/search for sailors that are in a certain state,etc? I think it would be possibly useful to know/converse with people that you know are nearby..may help some of the newbies to learn more about local cruising grounds, races, or hook up and get some experience sailing/racing/etc.
