Got my Garmin 78SC

Just got it today. They don't even give you a copy of the manual. I guess I have to download from their website.

Without knowing exactly how it works, I scanned through the page and menu. I know it comes with U.S. Coastal chart loaded (BlueChart G2). But somehow, I can't see the details for chart, markers, depth etc.

Anyone know what am i missing?

Rock—

IIRC, it comes on the CD they ship with the unit.

BTW, have you setup the unit for marine use? IF not, the marine charts won't show up.

Have you told it to display the nautical charts? It is found in the Map Setup options under Map Information.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
