Transporting a trimaran

Does anyone know if it is possible to transport a 28'' trimaran with a 16'' beam over land?

Can''t seem to find what the maximum trailerable width is.

I had my cat trucked from Chicago to N.C. My beam is 14-6. Each state you travel thru seems to have a different set of regs. pertaining to hauling. I would call boat movers and see what they say. I called over 5 myself...shop around....Highest quote was 6 thousand and low was 3 thousand....

One can transport almost anything almost anywhere. Some folks move whole houses. The problems arise with obtaining permits and paying fees to transport "wide loads". Every state and many municipalities regulate this stuff. As another writer mentioned, check with boat haulers. They''ll have the answers.

Often, it turns out to be cheaper to have a boat sailed from point A to point B.
