I have no idea but it certainly works, she pretty much spins on the keel. Thanks for the compliments folks, she really stands out in the boatyard at the moment!

That rudder is original

My 1980 (former boat, just sold in Oct) had the same rudder.

Mine was red and had the same pre-work look. Great job!

Yup, this is winter in BC. It has been sunny since Friday. The media hype has been that it is supposed to get colder, but I had to switch from a jacket to a pullover yesterday, and was running around with the sun-roof partly open.

On Friday, we made the mistake of listening to the forecast, so The Admiral volunteered to help the co-op with their haul-outs. But it was so nice that we could have gone sailing on our boat.

Paul, you were saying that these were decals, applied by professionals? If so, I'm impressed. We're hauling out next month, and our boot stripes are really showing their age. As we speak, I'm lining up quotes from local pros. I have one company. Local SN members are welcome to suggest companies they have dealt with.

BTW, C&C 24 is an outboard, right? I ask because I don't see a motor bracket in your images.

Finally, where do you moor?

Look again, Mark... that orange is so bright the bracket's lost in the shadows...

The name on the sides and transom, plus the registration numbers were put on by the guy that made them, figured that was easier than me messing it up. The stripes/stars I did with some vinyl striping tape. Not sure how well they are going to stay on TBH, but they look nice at the moment anyway.
Been a busy few days, fitted new transducers for speed and depth, converted the main to a loose foot this morning, fitted a flag and still have to mount the new Tacktick head unit
She's going back in the water this afternoon so hopefully my first attempt at fitting through-hulls won't turn out to be my last!
Oh, and she's moored up at Westport in Sidney.
