Talking Just wanted to show off

My little tub has been out of the water for a few days, having some work done to smarten her up. She was looking a little second-hand, all flaky and dull and as anonymous as a bright orange boat can get.

After 2.5 hard day's work by the guys at Pro Boat Clean (let me know if you want their contact details), plus some new stickers etc, she is now wearing her orange coat proudly and looks pretty freakin' fantastic I reckon. Can't wait to get her back in the water (assuming the through-hull transducers I fitted today are fitted properly ) and go for a scream around.

Winters are lovely here, we get plenty of sunshine and have some great sailing weather
Been really lucky though this week, rained a little on Thursday when she was hauled and it's been sunny since.

Looks amazing, Paul.. Do you know what they used? Great choice of fonts, btw...

I think they used pretty much everything they could think of, the hull had some sort of sealer on it which didn't want to part company with the hull, except in all the places where it had completely degraded and was flaking off. Can definitely recommend Fraser at Pro Boat Clean in Victoria though, did a great job, and a really nice guy too.

Looks great.

Hope to see it in the water.

I will be in Sidney from April 1 - 8 doing a couple of instructor courses.

Got time for a Race Rocks or a Hermann's?
