Much as Colin is the life of the party, I think we should continue with March 26. He had previously said that April would get too busy for him due to his daughter's PhD completion (IIRC). I have similar issues with my son graduating in May. So let's stick with March 26. I hope that still works for you, since we had picked that date because of your conflict on March 19.

Thanks, Matt, it will be good to meet you. FYI, I had suggested we get together at 6 PM. But if you can't make it until 7 I am sure that we will still be there. We really should start before sunset (so we can see it over the river), and also we'll probably get a little better service before their catered event starts.

I am thinking about coming to dinner. I started back to work today, two weeks after having my prostate removed due to cancer. Amazing, 6 little incisions, no pain killers at all almost no pain! The drive is only a little longer than the drive to and from the hospital.

The guy I hired to put my boat back together has started working on it. So I need to get my motivation level up to finish the parts that I still want to do. I can't climb on the boat or lift anything for a couple more weeks.

Two days before surgery I visited the boat with my 7 year old grandson. Even though it is mostly apart and covered he took a real interest. I may have a sailing buddy here!

OK everybody, here's a rough summary of attendees from the responses I have gotten so far. I'm aware that there are always last-minute conflicts (and sometimes unexpected guests), but I'm trying to get a rough count to update the club. It's not too late for others to sign up!

Me +1 (wife Lori)
deniseO30 +?
GaryHLucas
blowinstink Matt (might be late, has to work out his schedule)
chef2sail Dave (Donna can't make it)
alacrity19 + wife (2 weeks ago - need to reconfirm)
jdilliplane1 + wife (4 weeks ago - need to reconfirm)
Flybyknight Dick (not sure if he was serious when he responded 4 weeks ago)

So I count roughly 6-11 total. I've been to a couple of these in the past year, and every one has been a really nice time. I hope you can all still make it, and looking forward to meeting you/seeing you again! It sounds like we'll have clear weather for the view over the river, but chilly enough that it will be good to be inside.

I'll PM the people that we have not heard from in awhile to provide a reminder.

If any of you need directions or other information, just let me know.

-- Rick

It just occurred to me that I forgot to give you guys my name. So at great risk to my personal safety (lol), you should ask for Rick Sonntag when you get there (and sign the visitors book as my guest). I am a brand new member, so they don't know me very well yet, but I'm sure they'll figure out who you're looking for. Denise asked for pics, so here's one. More at Rick Sonntag's Personal Web Site:
