Dave,Glad to meet you also!

EVERYONE! thanks for taking time out of your busy lives to join us! Hopefully our little group of Delaware River sailors will grow and hopefully that list will be as long as the river! Now that Rick is a real ascot and blazer wearing Yacht Clubber we have a a nice place to meet up too!

It was great to meet everyone last night! Great to talk sailing with sailors. The guy working on my boat sent me photos and an invoice today. So maybe I'll get her in the water this season after all. I'm doing this on pay as we go basis, and so far I think he's being very fair with me. I have quite lot of the boat apart, and some fairly important pieces, like the rudder, are still in my shed and up to me to finish. I need to get my interest in the boat up, and dinner last night certainly helped.

Thanks Everyone!

Hey guys, I'm sorry I couldn't make it. Had one hell of a busy night at work with the four alarm fire in port richmond and a tone of EMS runs. Believe me I was thinking about finally realizing my dream of being on the water with peace and quiet!! I also posted a post about a captain in our Fire Department who is doing the voyage for autism. voyageforautism.blogspot.com. He is one of the people who has inspired me to get out on the water.

still looking to getting on the water yet. Last year just had too much stuff come up and money was really tight during the summer. Hoping to get a chance to try this sailing thing this year though
