Seafaring in times of Globalization

Dear Forum members,
Are there organizations that are responsible for assembling the on-board-team in particular with regard to cultural heritage?

Globalization is not merely a post-modern and contemporary appearance, but in terms of its history a commercial phenomenon, which is exchanging human resources already for hundreds of years.
I think there must exist an institution that is liable for diversity management towards seafarers.

I am highly interested in all field reports, opinions, and additions to the subject.
