If we're admitting to our guilty powerboating pleasures, here's mine: a 1968 Sears Runabout that I almost bought, and still regret not buying. She's only 18 feet and has the feel of a big Sea-Doo. The fire-engine red fiberglass was perfect as were the seats, and the wraparound plexiglass windscreen just made her.

That's awesome....when I was a little kid my dad restored an old Yellow Jacket. I remember the beautiful mahogany wood dash, the outside painted white with red trim, and a Chrysler 45HP motor. We used to go out on the San Jacinto River north of Houston all the time. I learned to ski behind that boat. Good times with my dad, way back when.

Well, it is a 1930 Dodge Watercar. I want to say 26 footer or there abouts.

I say a log with a V-8. It is my dads boat. It is a ongoing project. It was rebuilt in the late 80's (all new wood) original hardware, new modern power plant. He has had it since 97 or so. lots of varnish and upkeep. But, it does turn heads during the cocktail hour. There are not very many left 10 or so. If I remember right there is one in Florida that is all original, with a lacomming (sp) engine, but the rest have been updated to modern V-8's.
