Blog of the Month Club

My thanks to SailingWebGuy for putting this idea into my head.

Provided we get some good interest then each month we will post a Blog of the Month. Selection will not be strictly speaking democratic but will be based on nominations from you lot.

Like many of you I have my favourites and they vary across the board but a good blog must above all be an interesting read with content that is going to hold the readers attention. Blogs can cover Local and/or International Cruising , Racing, Maintenance or even be a tadge offbeat. Only requirement is a sailing theme.

Nominations can be made by PMing me and at the end of each month I'll post the winner. Unless I am absolutely inundated with nominations maybe I'll also post a list of the nominations. Blogs that do not win one month will remain eligible for the following.

The idea to be frank is not to create a competition as such but to hopefully give support to the best of blogs.

Let me know what you think, throw me some nominations and lets see if this thing has wings.

ps - This is strictly for non commercial sites. Yes some non commercial site do have small amounts of advertising but blatantly commercial sites will not be considered.
