Hawaiian shirts are a matter of how much tastless you are. The more gaudy the shirt, the less taste you have. Thus you can judge a person from a great distance.

Hey! Crew shirts are way cool! Without them, how do you guys find your crew in a crowded beer tent? We had pretty blue sailboats on ours for the 08 Pac Cup. And, cotton beats polyester hands down.

A hula girl shirt is an object of desire and consternation which is often remarked upon by commentators.

Years ago having completed a crossing, I was wearing the hula girl shirt when an old salt approached and recounted a story. What he told me was this. A hula girl shirt is not to be warn by inappropriate wankers. Only on the most audacious of occassions when one is prepared for the utmost propriety may the most simplistic of fallow fellows don the shirt. Hula girl is the most mysteriousness and often seen from afar but not nearly near. Much like a mirage, a great white wale or other creature of the sea or land. She dances a dance most mesmirizing and melifolous. She takes years and days of practice to perfect her devilish ways. When she is gazed upon she turns strong men to drink and weak men to sea. Her hips sway to and fro and her mouth say yes when her eyes says no.

These are the thing which all who dare wear the hula girl shirt must know.

When the old sailor finished his recount, I shook his hand and thanked him the pearls of wisdom he dropped at the feet of swine. It was a most horrific occassion to have graced his presence and I shall never forget his memory of him or the hula girl. How I dream of her on sleepless nights upon the sea gazing out upon the depthless waters and starey stars. She keeps me company when even the fishes fear my presence. God bless her generous ways. There is no end to her.I am constantly and even now bedeviled by her dancing hips and coconuts. Thank you hula girl. I love and desire you always.
