Lucky bugger..... At the moment I could literally tow my boat out to the deepest part of the lake without anything getting wet. Still a foot and a half of ice on most parts of it, but it's going quick

Couple of little projects to go still, so I'll live with it.

Had our open house on the 9th, only boats in the water were our club boats though, no sailing until this weekend as there was still 3 feet of ice out there. Ice is now officially out and the first boats will be sailing this weekend. I will not as we will be opening up the first mate's cabin this weekend. Oh and that little issue with me having my left hand in a half cast as I broke my 4th metacarpal last week. Minor detail..... Will be literally single handed sailing for a while, hopefully next weekend!

Minnewaska will become famous soon enough
Marina is planning to launch next week. Two weeks of commissioning and we just might be out sailing by the first of May (probably with all cockpit enclosures installed ). Awesome.

In the harsh marine environment, something is always in need of repair. Margaritas fix everything.

Awesome. Have fun.

If only the rain would stop Hopefully sailing Sunday. Couple of little projects tonight and tomorrow. Going to try out some Butyl tape for the first time and bed in a new bow cleat and a pair of bow chocks.

I'll be praying for wind for all of us.

Just got back from the marina. It is sunny but cold, gusty and the water is skinny... but the first boat is already on the Dock. Unfortunately, it isn't a sailboat.

I have been out several times this year. In the 80's one weekend, frost warning's the next. Gotta love Missouri weather.
