Yup - I think I'm HOOKED (LOL). There are few boats on here in the same price range that elicit more passion and positive comments than the Pearson. It's certainly not the fastest or the prettiest, but for what I am looking for, it's as close to perfection as I'm likely to find.
Perhaps it's not a coincidence that my only real experience with sailing was a 6 week course a lifetime ago - because it was on a Pearson 33'! Anyway, I don't want to start any "Posting Wars" here, as I know sailors can be a passionate lot and very protective of their own favorites. But I think my first real sailboat purchase will be a Pearson. The 10m would probably be the best "fit" for me in terms of handling, learning curve, live aboard, etc. We'll see...
