My Projects List: Help?

Okay. So like the rest of you I am trying to get my boat ready for a fun summer. We sail a few times a week now but I am wanting to get a few things done. Here is my list, please help with advice on these things.

1. New hatch install

-I have a lewmar hatch I got a great deal on, The size is a little off, by like an 1/8 of a inch. What do I do? If it is small is there a fitting or room for error in the install. Obviously I have to nail this install, don't want a leaky hatch.

2. Cracking in cockpit corners 99% most likely to crew slamming around, and lack of support above double berth.

-I was planning of filling with Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure then simply priming or painting over entire cockpit floor.

3. Re-convert boat back to manual head and holding tank vs. porta poty with pump out.

-What should I watch for seems relatively easy sense I have through hull area for holding tank and head already all in place, just put stuff in and connect.

4. Install electric bilge pump
-Right now I have a manual hand whale pump. Can I just install a bilge pump and run it aft to the same through hull with a splitter?
