Indestructable?

Can your yacht run into a floating dock, or rock jetty, at full speed,
and sail away? This boat can. Amazing crash test of a Dehler 31.
Here you go:

I'm not sure why I would want to try.

I notice that one of the participants was also named "Dehler". Was this a mfg crash test?

The jetty, no, I avoid those. A float dock? I'm pretty sure I could sail through (over?) one and keep sailing. I'll let you know if I ever do. I did once sail a yawl into a fixed dock. After I pulled her out of the hole and tied up, I sailed away the next day.

Indestructable

I ran over a shallow rock ridge once, thinking I was a shoal draft boat I could, disregard the buoy's. The grinding scrape alerted me, and in a reflex, I grabbed the tiller and lifted. Good thing, as the rudder hit as well, and I think if I hadn't lifted, it might have tore out. Spring here on Flathead Lake, is log season, and this year, flooding is going to send large logs down the river.
I hope that if I ever hit one , the force is disrupted or minimized, when the log moves, sparing the rudder.

a. Wow.

b. I'm not lending them my boat.

c. I will never charter out my boat. I will never charter out my boat. I will never charter out my boat.

Omatako will become famous soon enough
I had a Petersen 33 many years ago and the gear cable snapped as we were entering the dock leaving the gearbox in forward gear. When I approached our berth we were going too fast so not knowing the cable was broken, I put the gearbox into "reverse" and throttled up but of course the gearbox had not shifted out of forward gear and we hit the dock doing about 5 kn.

The only damage was a small notch about an inch deep in the prow and a badly dented ego.

Oh and the other embarrassment was the reason we went out sailing was to demo the boat to potential buyers. We never saw or heard from them again.
