No spring anymore, just winter and summer. I prefer summer.

Allergies are my only complaint. Bring all the warm and sunny days you have.

Jeanneau 54DS

In the harsh marine environment, something is always in need of repair. Margaritas fix everything.

Finished painting the deck on Saturday, under the canvas cover because all the windows and hatches are removed. Just in time! The heat would be unbearable under there, but now the paint will dry thoroughly.

I can deal with the heat, but the lack of usable breeze is frustrating. I finally got a 155% genoa but I need to get it converted to hanks.

It took me 4 hours to sail to the bar around the corner, drink my beer and return home. 5kts of breeze or less, sheesh.

Nothing to complain about in Florida. Anchored out this weekend and it was pleasant and actually a bit cool at night. We had a wonderful spring this year.

I came from up north and the lack of a breeze does make it down right unbearable. It's a rare day to get no breeze in Florida and that combined with some shade, preferably some water will lead to a pleasant day. Heck even in the dead of summer when the kids go swimming and sit under the Bimini, they get chilled in the breeze.

The Hook and Tackle long sleeve tee shirts at West Marine are unbelievable at keeping you comfortable. Nothing worse than a sopping wet tee shirt sticking to you - yuck!
