Can anyone identify this boat?

Its been sitting on the side of the highway as if for sale for as long as I can remember. I wanted to get some info before I attempted to locate the owner and see if its actually for sale.

Sure looks like a Sabre 28/30'ish, but I'm not sure about the aluminum toerail.

C&C maybe. Check the transom for the HIN. It looks young enough to have one.

Can you make out the name and hailing port in the original picture? If it's CG documented, you might could look it up. I see no obvious state numbers, but then I have no idea what the registration requirements are wherever the boat is.

I do have the name and port, how do I look that up? I looked all over the hull as best i could and didn't see any plates, maybe its molded in.

Google for "documented boat search" and you will find a number of hits.

OTOH, I just checked a couple, and found that while they may give the owner name, and location the boat was built, they don't seem to have builder and model. It still might give you some clues.

I'll guess that it is a C&C since it has that indented line below the toe rail.
I'll guess that it is 29' long.

Look for the HIN moulded into the starbord side of the transom just under the rub rail.

no need to guess it is a C&C, as some one said, indented line, and star thingy at the ends! so now it is WHICH model!?!?!?!?!???
