Chicago sailing

First mate and I will be in the windy city over the weekend of July 8 - 10th with the 9th being the only non travel day. We will be bringing her daughter back after a 2 week visit. Is there anyplace that offers reasonable day sailing opportunities? We will be staying in the Lincoln Park area when we are there. Would like to try to get out on the lake for a while, weather permitting. I have done a little research and it seems to be a bit spendy in that area. Of course if there are any fine SN folks in the area looking to have a couple of extra crew, we would definitely appreciate it and supply some refreshments.

Your best bet is probably Chicago Sailing in Belmont Harbor (http://chicagosailing.com/). They charge something like $75/hr to take a J-22 out on the weekend.
