yanmar 2YM15 oil

can anyone help with choice of engine oil ?
I'm about to change my engine oil, the yanmar manual specifies 10w30 or 15w40 with API classification CD or better. My local yanmar dealer can supply Yanmar 15w40 no problem, but the API is CL4/CH4/CG4/CF4/SL. Does this matter ? My user manual specifies NOT using CG4 or CH4, as it could cause excessive wear on valve trains.

The codes on the oil can just list all the formulations that the oil meets. I use Shell Rotella T in my Yanmar. You can get at any auto supply store.
