In civilised society , and I appreciate that as an American you would be unfamiliar with such, a duel twixt gentlemen is held at dawn.
I'm afraid we may be one or (more likely) two gentlemen short.

What is this? Yet another coffee thread?

Congrats to DW, Stewie and the engineer who made it work.

I'd be monitoring the Cutlass bearing and stuffing box if the shaft pitch has changed. Sounds like it is very close to the before vivisection angle though.

Great work. Great guys and they did you a solid good deed; tatoo or no. Keep turning left.

nah, just general hijack and a touch of uncalled light hearted abuse of my British and American comrades ... we'd better be careful Slow, Dylan might send Stew around to sort us out. Kind hearted soul he may be but I think I'd prefer him as a friend than have him use me as a punching bag.

No worries. I always have my disguise ready for just such emergencies.

Dylan,
I forgot to ask: Is that a Palmer engine in your boat? Or is that bugger/beast a diesel?

Thanks TDW for channeling DW.
The flywheel on that engine reminds me of some of the older Palmer gas engines I've seen.

It is a rather antiquated looking thing isn't it ? I had a Volvo auto of that vintage and it was much the same ... antiquated that is.
